Catch8 is a bookkeeping web app for small Hong Kong teams and freelancers. It reads receipt photos and fills in the merchant, date, amount and category, keeps the image as proof, makes quotations and invoices, and keeps your books in each currency separately. It is made by CRE8TOR Group Limited in Hong Kong.

Catch8 is for companies of two to five people whose staff spend money on jobs, and for freelancers and one-person businesses who keep their own books. An accountant can be invited in to see the same records.

You take a photo or upload an image. Catch8 sends it to Google's Gemini AI, which reads the merchant, date, amount and category. You check the result before it is filed. Anything it is unsure about is marked "Needs review".

Complete your company details to unlock Pro free for one month (up to 600 records). You can file your first 20 receipts before you add any details. The free month is Pro only, for you and up to two accountants. Staff are part of the Teams plan; to try Teams with your staff, message us on WhatsApp.

No. Each currency keeps its own total, and Catch8 never converts one currency into another. Where it does not have enough data for a true figure, it says "Not enough data yet" and gives the reason.

No. Catch8 does not prepare or file tax returns, and it gives no tax advice. Its profit and loss is a management view for running the business. Keep using your accountant for tax; you can invite them into Catch8.

No. You can import a bank statement as a CSV or a text-based PDF, review it and post it. Catch8 never asks for your bank login.

Yes, on every plan. Build them from your price list, convert a quotation to an invoice, edit the design and the sections, and download a PDF.

The iPhone and Android apps are coming to the App Store and Google Play. Catch8 already works in your phone's browser.

Catch8 and this site are in English, 繁體中文 (Hong Kong) and 简体中文. Switch language at any time; your invoices and quotations follow the language you choose.

In Settings, choose Review account deletion. If you are the Boss, the company and everything in it are deleted with your login. See the Delete your account page for what is kept and for how long.

No. Catch8 makes commercial invoice PDFs. They are not tax invoices, and Catch8 cannot issue a VAT invoice (fapiao) or an e-invoice.
