Catch8
Delete your account
Catch8 is made by CRE8TOR Group Limited. You can delete your Catch8 account and its data at any time, and you do not need the app installed to ask.
In Catch8
Sign in to Catch8 on your phone, or on the web at app.catch8.ai. Open Settings and choose Review account deletion. In Delete account, review every company and group listed, type the confirmation shown, then choose Delete my account and all data.
If you own no companies or groups, type your email to confirm, then choose Delete my login. Only your login and memberships are removed; companies and groups owned by others keep their data.
By email
If you cannot sign in, email support@catch8.ai from the email address you sign in with. Say that you want your Catch8 account and its data deleted, and include that address. We delete an account only when the request comes from the account's own email address.
What is deleted
We permanently delete your login, every company you own and its data, and groups you own. Company data includes receipt images, accounts, transactions, receipts, invoices, bills, budgets, categories, rules, usage and plan records. Some files may finish deleting in the background. Companies and groups you only belong to remain. This cannot be undone. If you need your data, export it first in Settings with Export all data.
If you subscribed in the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel it.
What is kept, and for how long
• Backups: deleted data can remain in our database provider's encrypted backups for up to 30 days, and then is overwritten. Backups are never used to restore an account you deleted.
• Server and sign-in logs: kept for up to 30 days for security, then deleted.
• Gemini: Google keeps requests and responses for the period set by its Gemini API terms.
• Subscription and payment records: Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records under their own retention rules and legal duties. We cannot delete those.
• Support emails: kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, and then for up to 12 months after your request is closed.
• Sign-up source record: kept for up to 24 months from when it is recorded, or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first (see §8).
